Principal's Message

Dear Muse Elementary School Families,

Welcome to Muse Elementary School, the largest elementary school in the Canon-McMillan School District.  Muse Elementary School boasts a new, state-of-the art, elementary facility housing a bustling enrollment of 765 students in grades K-4, along with a specialized learning program.  Our academic programs build upon early knowledge and skills to transform our young learners into critical, deep thinkers.  Researched based curricula, coupled with powerful and meaningful instructional techniques and delivered by highly trained teachers, make learning accessible to all students. Furthermore, we place great value on the time that we spend together and believe that when school is in session, every minute of every day counts.  

At Muse, we believe in a whole child approach to learning and thriving.  We incorporate character-driven lessons that help students develop essential skills in helping others, positive change, acceptance, problem-solving, resilience, and leadership.  In our school community, our students & staff are called to exemplify and demonstrate their P.O.W.E.R. each and every day;

The active participation of our PTO threads families into the fabric of our school community.  Together, memorable moments and cherished elementary experiences are cultivated through the activities and contributions of our families.  Families are invited to partner with our school and rekindle the joy of life as an elementary student, side-by-side, with their own children.  

Lastly, as your school principals, we would like for you to know that we lead with our hearts and through example.  As graduates of the Canon-McMillan School District and former CM teachers, we take pride in the honor and tradition of continuing to serve our community through school leadership.  Our blue and gold forever, as we stand together.
